We have just completed on our unique property thanks to the help of Cherry Street Finance. We had been trying to buy this specific property for a very long time with no luck from a previous broker. The property in question was a 1850's farmhouse located close to the working farm and in need of some work to update the property. We first tried a small local broker who was recommended by friend's in the area, he tried multiple high-street lenders but unfortunately none would lend on the property as it was rural and close to a working farm, this came as a shock to us all as it was something the broker had never experienced before. Unfortunately after over 6 months, 3 lenders, and a lot of money we were no closer to securing a mortgage on this property. We were then told about Cherry Street Finance and was advised that they would be able to help with rural property. We dealt with Rhiannon Tandy & Ryan Derry who were extremely helpful. They recommended a more specialised lender who dealt with more unique properties and even when that lender had some concerns with the property Ryan worked extremely hard going back and fourth with questions and answers until we finally got a mortgage offer. We also then dealt with Tracy who sorted our life insurance cover and also provided advise and quotations for house insurance making sure everything was in place at the right times to avoid any delays with the solicitor and completion. During the process of the solicitors preparing to exchange Hollie from Cherry Street checked in regularly to provide updates and make sure everything was all working on track, Hollie helped oversee the solicitors works and made sure that there were no issues with the mortgage offer potentially expiring before completion. We couldn't recommend Cherry Street enough as they have all gone above and beyond to make it possible to buy our dream house.
